How to Get to the Show


By Road


The postcode for Wimpole Home Farm is SG8 0BW and it will be signposted from all major routes.

 

Please note that there will be a traffic management plan in place on the day of the Show for the safety of all visitors. This will include the use of temporary traffic signals, temporary road closures and a one-way system. These will be used to reduce the travelling times for members of the public who are not attending the Show.

We would respectfully ask our visitors to follow the signage and not attempt to turn around in the road.

 

By Rail


Nearest station with a taxi service is Royston (6 miles).

Nearest station is Shepreth (5 miles)

Advance Tickets


We regret that we are unable to offer Advance tickets for the Show.

Car Parking


Parking is FREE so please use the designated car parks at the site. We would especially request that vehicles are not parked in Arrington Village.

We are grateful to the Round Table and local air cadets for their help in stewarding the car parks.

Site Information


FREE wristbands for children and vulnerable adults will be available at the Main Entrance and at the Information Point. We would encourage the use of these. If anyone does get lost they should make their way to the Information Point or contact a Steward for assistance.

There are baby changing and feeding facilities in a marquee on site which is kindly hosted by the Ely Diocesan Mothers Union

We welcome dogs to the Show but they must be kept on a non-retractable lead at all times and we would ask that you clear up after your dog, using the bins provided.Water bowls will be located around the site.

There are a number of toilet facilities situated around the Site and these include Disabled Toilets

When visiting the Livestock Area - Following contact with the animals, visitors are requested to use the hand washing facilities which are provided at the Entrance/Exit to the Area.

Visitors are requested to dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided

Cash Facilities


We very much regret that there are NO cash facilities on site.

 

Food & Drink

 

There will be a number of concessions selling food and drink but visitors are more than welcome to bring their own picnics

Disabled Access


 

Blue Badge holders should use the designated car park – please have your badge clearly visible.

The Show Admission Policy is to admit the necessary companion or carer of a disabled visitor free of charge, on request, while the normal admission fee applies to the disabled visitor. Stewards may ask to see an ‘employed’ carers card.

Mobility Scooters may be used on the site, unfortunately we are unable to offer hire facilities for these.

Please be aware that the Show Site is on grassland and the surface may be uneven.
